Privacy policy

PYURU CO., LTD. (hereafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds our business activities on the following policies and take it as our social responsibility to abide by them.
We respect and protect privacy by implementing appropriate and thorough management and protection of information pertaining to personal circumstances (hereafter “personal information”) at all times.
To ensure this, both officers and employees will together strive to properly handle personal information based on the following basic principles.

Basic policies

Collection, use and provision of personal information

  1. Whenever we collect personal information in our E-commerce business, we will clarify the use purpose and collect personal information only within the necessary and agreed scope.
  2. We will not disclose or provide such information to third parties outside the scope of the agreed use purpose or exceptions pursuant to laws, regulations, and norms.
  3. When we engage external parties to outsource operations that involve the handling of personal information within the specified use purpose, we include a contract requiring the contractor to protect your personal information at a level equivalent to the protection provided by us and supervise the contractor.

We record phone conversations with our customers to ensure an accurate understanding of the conversations and to improve future services.

Security measures

We have internal rules in place to maintain our customers’ personal information safe and accurate as well as to prevent and correct any unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering, or leakage of information, and will implement appropriate actions as necessary according to our rules.

Legal and regulatory compliance

We will protect personal information and ensure compliance with Japanese Industrial Standards’ Requirements for Personal Information Protection Management Systems (JISQ15001) and other laws, ordinances, and regulations related to personal information.

Organizational efforts

We have in place an internal management system and organizational structure for the protection of personal information and will enhance the awareness of officers and employees.

Continuous improvement of the management system

To ensure appropriate management of all the personal information collected, we will monitor any changes in the laws, regulations, and norms related to personal information, and maintain, revise, and improve our internal management system accordingly.

Complaints/consultations regarding personal information and requests for disclosure, correction, and deletion

We respect individual rights related to control over one’s own personal information. Please contact us if you have any complaints/consultations regarding personal information or wish to request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your own personal information. We will respond promptly within a reasonable scope and timeframe.

We will also respond likewise and promptly correct your personal information if any errors are found as a result of disclosure.

We do not disclose or provide personal information to third parties, except when the following applies.

  • When it is necessary to prevent a possible threat to the life, health, or property of the person concerned or the public
  • When there is explicit consent of the person concerned

Outsourcing

We may outsource some of our operations, which may include handling of personal information for such purposes as sending documents necessary for tax administration and operational management. Subcontractors are selected based on our selection criteria and appropriately managed and supervised.
